EMBRACE screening comes to Coventry!

The Starfish Collaborative are really excited to announce that they will be bringing EMBRACE the Documentary by the Body Image Movement to Coventry. It’s a must see film for all women!

Focussing on themes The Starfish Collaborative strongly support and deliver workshops in, this powerful documentary uncovers why poor body image has become a global epidemic and what people everywhere can do to have a brighter future. Embrace tells the story of Taryn Brumfitt’s journey from body loather to body lover – an Australian wife and mother who embarks on an international crusade to change the way we think and feel about our bodies.

This screening is part of Embrace: The Union Project. By buying your ticket you are contributing to a body image revolution throughout the UK. The screening licence fee costs £300 paid by The Starfish Collaborative and goes towards a vital body image education package, which The Body Image Movement will make available to every secondary school across the UK for free, once 2000 screening have taken place. The education package will inspire life-changing body image conversations in the classroom.

All money raised from the sale of tickets will go towards the £300 licence fee and any further money raised will go to local charity Molly Olly’s Wishes supporting children with terminal or life threatening illnesses and their families to help with their emotional wellbeing.
