Starfish were really pleased to work as a partner on Accelerate providing Mental Wellbeing support for Accelerate participants in Coventry and Warwickshire from 2019 – 2021.
Accelerate was a partnership of local organisations providing co-ordinated employment support to people who are at a disadvantage when looking for work. It was a free support service that improved skills and provided training and work experience.

We developed and delivered a number of creative wellbeing projects across our time on the partnership including:
We also provided 1-2-1 wellbeing support sessions based around individuals needs and focussing on creative approaches to:
- Self help strategies
- Motivation
- Recognising your skills and abilities
- Raising your aspirations
- Goal setting and the steps you need to reach your goals
- Identifying what wellbeing barriers you currently have and how we can support you to move forward
- Understanding Anxiety
- Low mood
- Confidence building
